Tarox Brake Pads
Fast Road Available for most cars. The TAR-OX fast road compound pads are suitable for most road applications, they work from cold and are able to withstand temperatures up to 600 C, although they perform best at up to 400 C with their optimum temperature range being 150-200 C.
Rally compound Available for most cars. Recommended for use on high performance cars, the TAR-OX rally compound pads are suitable for road applications and for racing, their soft compound provides high amounts of grip on the disc and superior braking performance, they will work virtually from cold and are able to withstand temperatures up to 700 C, although they perform best at up to 450 C with their optimum temperature range being 200-250 C.
Corsa compound These high friction (50µ) pads are aptly after the Italian word for race – “Corsa” Although primarily intended for race and for track day use, the Corsa `pads are also suitable for fast road use and offer smooth operations at any pace. Corsa pads are effective from cold and therefore give maximum performance at all temperatures and their unique compound will also help to minimise disc wear. TAR-OX offer Corsa pads for all the popular high performance cars including Ferrari, Subarus, Porsche, Mitsubishi Evo and Sierra Cosworth but also the great classic such as the Lotus Cortina and the Mini Cooper
Sintered compound Available for most high performance cars, TAR-OX sintered compound pads have been designed for racing use but can be enjoyed in everyday normal road condition because – unlike other competition oriented pads - they need virtually no warm up. Sporting a working temperature range between 50-350 C° they can withstand temperatures up to 800 C°.
